So if you commit one of the worst terrorist attacks in world history, and no one notices it, did it happen? That is the question facing Boko Haram after they slaughtered over 2,500 people in the villages of Baga and Doran Baga in Nigeria. The destruction was so bad that satellite images clearly show the carnage.
You may previously have heard of Boko Haram, which translates to "Western Education is Forbidden," and their fanatical leader Abubakar Shekau, for kidnapping 276 schoolgirls, and making them convert and marry the fanatic soldier men. At this time, 219 of them remain missing, probably living in that hell that these madmen created for them.
Here's the funny part- there is no #JeSuisNigeria. There is no unity march in Nigeria. There's damn near no coverage of this. These guys slaughtered 2,500 people and nobody even knows about it. Nobody is calling on President Obama to go there. It's like it didn't even happen.
Why?

Why?
- Most Americans can't even find Nigeria on a map. I'll go ahead and play in here, I knew generally where it was in Africa, but had to look it up to know I was right. Many Americans can't probably even get the continent right.
- There's no oil there, so there's no push to send American troops from the right-wing.
- Though they are Muslim, I wonder if half of Congress even knows that, since it's in Africa.
- Honestly, and I hate to go here, but our leaders aren't telling us about this.
So, we have people marching in the street over twelve dead French people, which is fine, but nothing at all for 2,500 dead Nigerians. I can't say i'm stunned, but it is disheartening. Of course, it took me all week to mention this too, so I guess we all have some blame.
