As Republicans Take Power, They Show Their Priorities, NH Edition

Welcome to Republican America! I told you last night about Pennsylvania's GOP controlled legislature and their bad priorities. Now, check out New Hampshire's terrible priorities:

First order of business for the new Republican majority in New Hampshire? Overturning a ban on weapons in the House chamber:

House lawmakers have voted 228-149 to allow concealed weapons in the House chamber and Legislative Office Building.

It was one of the first acts by the now Republican-controlled House on the opening day of the legislative session.

So you do the honorable thing, spend countless hours canvassing, raising money, debating, speaking to community groups, and what-not, and one of your first acts in the legislature is.... letting yourself bring your piece back on the floor. For real. That's what these morons ran for! What are they gonna do with it there? Most likely pull a Plaxico Burress, or nothing, to be honest. I guess they feel like men now, or something, i'm not sure....
