Long before most of us were around, there was Pearl Harbor. On December 7th, 1941, Japan attacked the U.S. Navy in Hawaii, destroying much of the Pacific Fleet, and pulling us into World War II. The results were disastrous.... for Japan. Obviously we won the war, and their Emperor was toppled, but today we remember the brave souls who lost it all that day in Hawaii.
