From Hail to the Redskins on Facebook |
Which is just one more reason I hope all of my fellow Dallas haters aren't going crazy yet. Yes, they absolutely got one of the worst calls I've seen, in a key spot. Yes, it was pass interference on Dallas. No, they didn't give the call to Detroit. Such is life on the road in the playoffs, and why the Detroit-Green Bay game mattered so much last week. One got to play Dallas in Dallas, where everything is stacked against you. The other brings Dallas into a literal icicle next weekend. You play the season to get these home games.
So, with that in mind, who wins? I think the NFC is easier, as I'm going rock-chalk all the way through here, with Seattle handling Carolina and Green Bay handling Dallas, both at home, to set up the NFC Title Game we've all seen coming since Thanksgiving. In the AFC, not so fast. First off, I'm predicting that it's Andrew Luck's moment- yes, he's going to eliminate Peyton Manning. I know, this is the one i'm probably wrong on, but Denver really didn't play that great down the stretch this year, so this is my 75% rule kicking in- I'll pick one upset. That means i'm going against my better judgment and not picking Joe Flacco to stun New England again. I think Baltimore plays well, I just think this is Brady's moment to get it done. I have New England hosting Indianapolis in the AFC's Title Game.
Yes, the call stunk. That's fine. Aaron Rodgers doesn't. The only worry I'd have if I were a Green Bay fan is if Rodgers gets hurt again or can't go. Then.... Dallas might continue on.
